Training Workshop

The National Skills Council is offering a workshop on Embedding Sustainability through School Management. Participants are required to choose one of three available dates in October or November. The workshops will be facilitated by Prof Mark Mifsud, Professor at the Centre for Environmental Education and Research at the University of Malta.

Choose your date: 20 Oct / 6 Nov / 10 Nov 2025

Who is this workshop for? SLT/SMT Members

The workshops will emphasise the crucial role of educators in fostering sustainability. In a world increasingly driven by environmental challenges, it is imperative that educators, as role models, lead the way towards more sustainable practices. Their influence shapes students' minds and inspires colleagues to adopt greener, more responsible actions.

The importance of Education for Sustainable Development goes beyond the academic. It is a call for action. As role models, educators are in a position to impart knowledge and demonstrate sustainable behaviours in their daily lives. These workshops will focus on equipping educators with the tools and insights to champion sustainability in their schools and communities. By embedding these values into their work and leading by example, they can create lasting impacts beyond the classroom.

Secure your spot today by completing the registration form here by Monday, 15th October 2025.  Participation is free of charge, but spaces are limited to just 30 attendees per workshop, so don’t miss out!
